Integração sustentável de combustíveis renováveis nos transportes locais

No âmbito do projeto SEAFUEL, foi instalada uma central-piloto totalmente integrada para a produção de hidrogénio a partir de fontes renováveis e água do mar na ilha de Tenerife (Ilhas Canárias, Espanha) com o objetivo de demonstrar a viabilidade tecnológica, social e económica da implementação de combustíveis renováveis nos transportes.

Esta central-piloto, a primeira estação de reabastecimento de hidrogénio renovável nas Ilhas Canárias, irá abastecer a frota de veículos movidos a hidrogénio do projeto.

A viagem virtual, que tem sido desenvolvida no âmbito das atividades de capitalização do projeto, permite visitar a estação de reabastecimento de hidrogénio em qualquer parte do mundo e mostra o seu funcionamento de forma simples. A viagem contém informações técnicas básicas sobre os seus principais componentes e o processo que ocorre em cada um deles.
