Dr. Pau Farrás, coordinator of the SEAFUEL Project – Sustainable integration of renewable fuels in local transportation, co-financed by the 2014-2020 INTERREG Atlantic Area programme, will present the project during the Conference sessions organized 8 October in La Mon, Belfast.
The Northern Ireland Energy Forum, now in its 17th year, has firmly established itself as the only major annual conference for Northern Ireland’s energy sector. The 2019 Forum will once again bring together all the key players, both from within Northern Ireland and further afield, to focus on the most important aspects of energy policy and latest developments from across the sector. It provides a unique opportunity for all those operating within the sector to come together for networking and discussion.
Dr. Farrás, with his presentation Is Hydrogen the fuel of the future, will speak about the great environmental benefits the hydrogen technology can bring, especially in isolated regions, being one of the objectives of the project to install a fuelling station that uses renewable energies and seawater to produce hydrogen for public vehicles in the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain).
