ITER and AIET continue with various webinars to bring SEAFUEL to the young

One more year, the SEAFUEL project participates in the flagship event of scientific dissemination in the Canary Islands, the Science and Innovation Mini-fairs, conceived as a point of dissemination and demonstration of the work carried out by the Universities, the main research centers, public and private entities that develop R&D&I in the Canary Islands.

The Mini-fairs are organized by the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI). In this edition, they will be held in online format in the islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and La Palma. In addition, on this occasion, the Mini- fairs of the island of Tenerife are held in conjunction with the Fair of Scientific Vocations and with the MacaroNight 2020 event: The Night of the Researchers of Macaronesia, in collaboration with the General University of La Laguna Foundation.

The SEAFUEL project, cofinanced by the INTERREG Atlantic Area, participates in the Mini-fairs of Tenerife and La Palma with the activity “SEAFUEL –Generating Hydrogen”. The objective of this activity is to  to showcase this technology and bring the project to the public. How does it work? How is hydrogen generated? What is green hydrogen? How does it apply to transportation? These are some of the issues that will be targeted during the virtual event involving some of the technicians working in the project. In particular, in the Science Mini-fairs of La Palma 2020, the activity SEAFUEL – Generating Hydrogen will be held in a daily session at the following times: 18 November (11:00 to 12:00) and 19 November (9:00 to 10:00).

During the Science Mini-fairs of Tenerife 2020 there will also be a daily session of the activity at the following times: 25 November (9:00 to 10:00); 26 November (12:30 to 13:30) and 27 November (09:00 to 10:00).

These activities are free, with no capacity limit, and open to the public, although they are mainly aimed at school groups and universities. The registration is coordinated by the ACIISI, as an organizing entity of the Mini-fairs.
